I am overjoyed by the fact that the first review of my band's new CD (at Collective Zine) is a good one, by a source that I trust.

Am - I haven't checked out your blog for a while, so I thought I would drop in. Good stuff! You're a real rock star now. I read the review and I really want to hear the record. I look forward to seeing you at the wedding...it's almost here!
Nice review - friend of yours? Spoke to the Beanos manager, and he'd be happy for you to come play one Saturday. It would be a tight squeeze with the stage probably just about big enough for the drum kit + maybe 2 stationary guitarists, but I'm sure you could spread out a bit. They have had bands there before, though I have trouble seeing it myself, as this might show:

Gig's usually around 3pm and you get a whole £20 plus anything you get from cd sales. Think you're responsible for advertising / bringing in a fanbase etc... Possible not a great gig, but then that's Croydon. I'll lend the cd to the relevant people if you want. Tim the manager seemed to like what he saw and heard if that counts for anything. Speak soon
